Apparently, out of the blue, a tropical storm (#12, it doesn't even have a name yet) snuck up on us and should be hitting here at some point today. At least its not as bad as Fabian, a category 4 hurricane that looks to kick Bermuda's ass really soon. Sorry about that folks.

Surfing news articles this morning, I come across this damn bombshell:

Uh...hello? Why is there not an outcry about this? Why is the US media not saying a fucking word about this? Why are we NOT raising hell and calling for Bush's head over this? We seriously need to hold them accountable for this. Bloggers unite, and spread the word! Let's make this an issue!

Any ways, moving on, Bill O'Reilly likes to tell people to shut up quite often. Speaking of which, I got Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them: A Fair and Balanced Look at the Right from Amazon today. Just looking at the cover makes me laugh, and I'm sure the book itself will be funny.

Well, its been a while, but looks like celebs are starting to do their own bit of mouthing off now. Johnny Depp called the US a stupid puppy. Naturally, I'm sure this will cause the same outcry it caused when the Dixie Chicks, Sean Penn, etc said similar things. Rest assured though, at least Britney Spears supports Dubya.

Hmm...it appears that Apple is hip with the kids. So since I use the iTMS and have a Powerbook, does that make me trendy? Ack! The thought boggles the mind!

The record labels, desperate for anything to boost revenue, are realizing that cutting prices will increase sales. Good god man, I think you may be on to something! Hehe.

And finally, for all you kids starting college this month/recently, here is a list of things that have been the "mindset" of this year's class, born in 1985.
